Fluoroboric acid is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula HBF4. It is a strong inorganic acid, appearing as a colorless transparent liquid, miscible with water and alcohol. It is primarily used for cleaning and etching metal surface oxides and silicate films, among other applications.
